"Nottingham Castle finally reopened its doors following a huge regeneration project to create a world-class visitor attraction."

A transformed Nottingham Castle opened its doors to visitors on 21st June 2021. Nottingham Castle is an important and much-loved visitor attraction, with a 1,000 year history. Casson Mann's visitor experience incorporates four new galleries within the historic building, outdoor interpretation within the Castle grounds and a highly anticipated, immersive Robin Hood experience in a new on-site extension.

Robin Hood actor, Ade Andrews, commented: “I’ve been Robin Hood 27 years and have been watching this city evolve. It’s an exciting time now - the underdog is rising.”

“This Castle should be the crowning glory of this renaissance and such an excellent tool of economic regeneration. It’s a huge catalyst for change, especially after Covid."
