Private apartment, Canal Building

The apartment was bought as a shell within a disused clothing warehouse that was built in the thirties. Our brief was to create a flexible space – minimal but comfortable to live in; a home. A series of sliding walls in warm greys and white separate the kitchen, a study area and a guest sleeping area from the main living space. Areas without natural light were washed in light from concealed sources.
